First time flowering on a single growth plant. I got it in the beginning of March, it was in very low sheath so I can't take the credit for flowering it. The bud took forever to develop.

A little disappointed about the pouch but I'm hoping it'll straighten up in the future. We had couple of very warm, sunny spells and I think I allowed it to get a little too dry at times.

So why cant you take credit for flowering it, you didn't let it blast or otherwise fail.

Looks fine to me. Thanx for sharing.

Thanks guys!

The natural span of the flower is 9 cm and the leaf span is 21 cm.

I suppose I always think that to properly take credit for a flower I have to provide the right conditions and for the bud to develop while the plant is under my care. Incidentally I'm yet to do that with anything with even whiff of Parvi in it :sob: One day.

That's the way I think too. It seems to me that it is much easier to not kill a spike or bud that is already there, than to make it flower on your own. I feel a bloom is not really 'mine' until I have actually flowered it myself.

Btw, nice flower and nice photo. Interesting cross.

Beautiful bloom. I love the hint of color- Hopefully the pouch will straighten out for the next flowering. It's a beauty!
