I really like how this cross tuned out. It is Paph. Bel Royal (= roth x kolopakingii) x philippinense. This cross has been pretty variable in the color of the flowers. Some have turned out darker and some lighter in color.

Here are some pictures:

Very nice. The symmetry is almost perfect. The colour of the pouch is also very pleasant. Good job. Thxs for showing.

I would say it is average; Bel Royal can be pretty big, but adding a dose of philippinense toned it down.

I'm impressed with this clone. My eyes are drawn to the dorsal and the "fingers" of color running up

This was a good cross to make. I find Bel Royal to be a bit boring in the markings/colour department. The addition of philippinense livens it up quite a bit. Very nice!

huh?
unless i missed something, that is the registration page. it lists the name of the cross, that it's not a synonym for something else, who registered it and who the parents are (but i think Bel Royal is misspelled, unless i've always misspelled it...)

edit: funny. there are two different hybrids that sound similar, Belle Royale (Calke Abbey x Paeony) and Bel Royal (kolopakingii x roth).
