Indeed. If you don't know which clone it is, and if it's a first flowering, then I'd give it another chance. Darling can be quite variable, even a single clone.
I remember seeing the originals at VL a few months ago, none were as good as this one. Sometimes they have color breaks.

Well, as for the cupped dorsal, I believe this is a dead-end. Just google Darling you'll notice the shot angle.

It is actually a division of an awarded plant. I've heard the plant was spectacular with many flowers on a specimen plant.

Better than most of what's been awarded. I'd keep it.......
I, um, gave it away last night at our orchid society meeting. It went to an enthusiastic and good grower, so I'm happy.
