Might be a half dunkel.
By the way, both are nice!

I'm still on the hunt for a nice dunkel.
I got on cheap off eBay. gorgeous leaves, but when the flower opened, not only it was very small but the malformation was just beyond belief! lol
That was the end of it. hahaha

The cross is actually a chinese character x Da-Cha-Sei. When I google translated the chinese character. The meaning came out as "fragrance or fragrant". Having said that, I did not detect any but most of these paphs have faint fragrances and my nose aren't sensitive enough to smell it.

The flask came form Ching Hua and had a pretty high survival rate (99%). Gave most of it away overtime as I ran out of space when they got bigger. I kept about 4 or 5 and they are all in spike now.

Thanks.

Yeah, I have bloomed two delenatii and none were fragrant at all.
The ugly dunkel I had had zeron scent as well.

The only thing that is definitely fragrant, very strong at that, and day and night, was Shun-Fa Golden.

Other than that, my spicerianum is scented, but weak.
Pretty much all my brachy with the exception of bellatulum (no scent to my nose) smell terrible!

Good point. My 1/2 dunkel's foliage looks normal and the flower looks normal other than having a rather darker, purpler pouch.

Both of my delenatii (one dunkel, one half dunkel) are fragrant. It's not as strong as SFG, but it's noticeable. It reminds me of Southern magnolia blooms, very similar to catching a whiff of those blooms from off in the distance. Some people say rose, some say citrus, some say it's fruity.

With slipper fragrances, I've noticed that some people have trouble detecting them. I have a friend that used to think I was making it up, and I remember being the only person at the greenhouse I worked at that could smell the fragrance from a Phrag. Hanne Popow that bloomed, they also thought I was making it up.
