Since I just took these photos with my outdated phone for a friend...I thought I would post them here as well. The flower is still developing... NS should be around 5.5" when it is fully developed. The flower is fragrant.

It's an incredible flower and quite an achievement to bloom one! Super fascinating species and an incredible lip. This is a particularly colorful cultivar. Glad to hear it is also fragrant.

I bought it as a NBS seedling a few years back...Recently, I got some background information on this plant--It came in a flask in 2014, from Hengduan Mts Biotech(China), described as "petal finely red spotted"--(sib cross #34 X #35). This particular clone is easy to grow and bloom for me even without light winter rest. Plant is mature now with 15" LS. Certainly it is a larger variety/clone with much larger flower. Here is a photo of its first bloom:

FYI, Paph Paradise has/had/still may have, seedlings of this variety(with red spots) available for ~$75. Recently, I bought a NBS seedling from Tim C. and I hope its flower will be smaller, no spots and hold up on its own stem better, your choice if you want to try this species.

Thank you all.
The flower is fully developed now, 5.7 NS, quite flat. It is the biggest it has ever gotten(compared to the previous 3 bloomings).
