I like it. I can see why you would be bothered by the unfurly stems. I'll take it off your hands if you want to get rid of it

Could have been three together!
I like how both spikes have the same curves.
Cute that way.

Maybe you will have that third one in bloom by summer?
How long did it take to go from first sign of spike to open bloom?
That third one is sitting low but shows the bud. It's interesting how different plants have different ways of growing spikes/buds.
Some of them just grow very tall before showing the actual buds.

I have one with brown bud. The spike poked just above the leaves last June, then it just sat there doing nothing the whole time.
I knew it wasn't going to make it.
I see the tiny little brown & dry bud inside the bract (?).
It is growing a small new fan, though, so I'm hopeful that it wil bloom in the future.

I think that's very pretty and seems to be a good grower.
I assume the spikes are twisted because you rotated the plant a few times when the spike was growing ie changed the light direction.

Plant habit, flower color and size are all good I think.
Maybe he does not like the shape.

Yes. I had to move it around to accommodate the very long spikes. In the end i put it on a table beside the light stand.

Thanks.

It took a very long time. At least 4 months.

I like it, that's a beautiful display. If you want to get rid of it at some point in the future, I don't think you'll have a hard time finding it a new home.

I can't believe nobody's asked yet (if you did I missed it), but is it fragrant?
