Paph Fanaticum

This plant I bought in Durban at the end of September at the National Orchid Show and Conference. The flower stem was just showing when I bought it.

Question: When would it be Fanaticum and when fanaticum? I think unless it is jungle collected one can assume that it is F and I think it will be difficult to know.

I think it looks quite nice.

as for the writing I understand that if it is manmade it is written with F and the natural hybrid should be => x fanaticum <=

Yep. I think with other botanical groups, hybrids are all designated with an X for man-made and x for mom-nature-made??? Orchid people just dropped the X since there are so many man-made hybrids. In other words, if this were a rose, it'd be X Fanaticum. Am I crazy here??? Anyone else know for sure?

I didn't know malipoense and micranthum grew close enough to each other to have natural hybrid!?

It is very lighter in colour that he ones I've seen! Very nice!!!
