I love them too! It suffered for me until I started giving it more water than my venustum's!! It craves being almost constantly wet all year!!
lol sure thing! I grow mine in a mix of 50% classic orchiata, 30% sphagnum, and 20% small perlite.Interesting observation. I'll keep that in mind with my remaining semi-chewed seedlings.
Try semi water culture (swc), lower level filled with leca clay, sitting in water tray? Topped with moss. This delivers constant moisture without rotting the orchiata/perlite/charcoal mix above.I’m not sure what the issue is, but since then, it grew multiple fans, and flowered more, then started on a slow decline... I can’t keep it wet enough for what it wants. I’m not sure why either. I have no problem growing other Philippino species.
