It's just coated wire, the softer kind.

Sheer drapes, miniblinds, and supplemental leds on a timer for those darker periods.
Fans, trays w heat mats, humidifier,...

Beautiful setup, and it’s so clean and orderly (my windowsill is severely overcrowded)! Great job, the plants are clearly happy!

Well, I try to keep it clean, as it's a semi-public area, but it often gets a bit overcrowded as I cycle other orchids in and out of other areas according to bloom.
