The first bloom. I pre-order a division from my friend.(Photo from my friend)
 
Taiwan seems to be contributing some amazing paphs, judging by the consistency of specimens shown here.

And am I correct in understanding that many of these plants are unawarded?

Would someone inform me as to why this is?
 
I don't think I can recall a single adductum (hybird) ever... with a strong stem, let alone one as strong, as this plant seems to be having. Very impressive.
 
Excellent shape and presentation of the flowers. I can see why you raised your hand for a division. That one needs an award.

I believe they would be eligible now, anitum is recognized as a separate species now. Some of these crosses could be awarded but adductum is listed as a parent, anitum a variety of, you know they have to add the confusion element!
