I wonder how those plants made it to Australia. Beatrice Ernst is Evansrose x Winston Churchill, and it was made by Robert Ernst, a hobbyist in LA. Evansrose is a Black and Flory hybrid from the 1950s. I've only heard of Evansrose 'Woodland Hills', Robert's plant, and I'm sure the seedlings were not distributed...was Beatrice Ernst remade in Australia? Were seedlings given to someone out there, or flasks? Such interesting history in complex Paphs...

Your plant could just as easily be Lamourose x Evansrose...I see very little of the WC in there...
