I was surprised to see a bud form earlier this summer and even more surprised that it didn't blast.

Thank you. It seems the pouch is lighter in colour than it was when it bloomed in the winter a couple years ago.

Lori, this is a very pretty one. Congrats to flower it and the patience.... you need it because they are very slow from the first sight of the bud until the blossom out.

Thanks all. This plant definitely does require patience but it's always worth it. I got it as a seedling in 2013 so it's been coming along nicely, slowly by surely.
