Purchased this from Happypaphy7 last year. It started blooming late July, see photos, and as they are winding down I just noticed a couple of new buds on the way. Is this staggering of blooming typical as plants get large enough to have multiple new growths? Not sure why it surprised me but I assumed it would be next season before I saw more blooms.

That's so nice! I really wish I had an NH with nice tessellation like this.

I notice that my NHs and similar crosses seem to do the staggered blooming once they get some size on them. The one I currently have in bloom produced 2 spikes at the same time. One of the spikes went into hibernation, the other developed into a gorgeous bloom that stayed open for months and months and months. I assumed the hibernating spike was going to eventually blast, but it reactivated around the time that the first spike was winding down.
