One of my favourites and its beginning to put out the multiple spikes as it gets stronger. It now has well over 30 growths and this time has the 6 spikes with a 16 flowers presently open. There may be a couple more spikes on the way which would even out the display. Very pleased as it got me best Paphiopedilum species at our first show of the year organised by the Harrogate Orchid Society.

Finally you post! I've been waiting with baited breath to see this amazing plant! I would say you have these multis nailed down for culture. Great looking flowers too Gary.

Amazing Gary. What a wonderfully grown plant. The leaves look magnificent. It would take a while to get a plant this big. Very little twist in the petals which is interesting.

What a beauty! I like how the flowers rise above the foliage. Some of the clones of this species I have seen don't do this as well as yours.

Thanks all for the kind comments. I purchased it a few years ago but it has nearly tripled in size/growths. As stated, there are at least 30 growths and more are attaining blooming size so there could be any number of spikes open depending on how long they last. New growths are emerging all the time and are taking about a year to mature but the plant seems to remain fairly compact and doesn't spread took much. It is in need of a repot but not sure when to do this yet but could take a chance now spring is nearly here. I do have limited space. ie a 3m x 3m greenhouse, but it is brick and double glazing constructed so is very well insulated and I have a lot of control of what goes on in there, but it works! The majority of plants, paphs is nearly all I grow now, do seem to adapt very well with the culture I give them Rick, so looking forward to some more good displays.
