Congrats! It looks amazing and must be so rewarding to have to grown that long (and so well)!
Thank you. Yes, it makes all those long hours in the plant room worth it. But I like spending time with my plants even without awards. The tricky part is to keep treating the awarded plants the way I did before they were awarded!

Congratulations on the FCC. Very exciting. A few months ago, I was given a largish platyphyllum seedling. I am even more excited to see it flower now.
I hope it grows and flowers well for you. The black warts on the petals are intriguing. One of the judges said his first impulse was to try to pick them off because they look like bugs!

I forgot to mention I really love the Grateful Dead clonal name. Blues for Allah is one of my favorite Dead albums.
Lol, I wondered if there were any Deadheads out there who'd pick up on the clonal name! I love that song. Blues for Allah is a great album. Are you heading to Sphere to see Dead and Co? I went last year and they played Franklin's Tower. What an experience. We're heading back this year for the Mother's Day weekend run.
May the four winds blow you safely home :)

No we don't do a lot of concerts these days. Got to see the GD a few times when Jerry was around which was great. Also had some roommates back in college who did the whole tape thing, so I think I've heard every note they've ever played in some shape or form lol.

I still play their great studio albums quite often though--American Beauty, Workingman's Dead, etc. Fantastic stuff.

Those were the days eh? Living in Canada I was aware of the Deadheads following them from city to city and thought how great that would have been but I think my parents would have grounded me for life if I'd attempted to cross the border and join the entourage! So sadly I never got to see the GD. Dead and Company is a really good band that does the music justice though, IMO. I was never a fan of John Mayer so had my doubts but oh boy did I change my mind when I went to see them play for the first time. Now that I don't have to worry about getting grounded I can keep going back every summer!
