It's with a local orchid growing friend. That way you're assured of a div if something happens to your plant. I'll keep you in mind next dividing !

Still, for all the doubts, it is a spectacular flower and is clearly very well grown--so kudos to you Gilda.

My bad, it is paph Brecko Garnet x paph henryanum

Thanks to all for looking and bringing up the ? it might be mislabeled. That got me to thinking, jogged my senior brain, so I went back looking at pictures, and sure enough it's Paph Brecko Garnet x Paph henryanum. The bloom has greatly improved from years ago, the dorsal does not reflex. It's been in bloom for weeks, so that's not an issue now. There is faint mottling in the leaves.
