Besides blooming in Fall, this one has larger flower elements than my other other one. This flower is still developing and the petals are 21 cm. There are 6 buds on the spike.

Great, large dorsal, and I notice the lack of green markings on the staminode.
 
Nice Rick, He must be talking about the veins not being green, right? Another thought, didn't someone recently say that phili's spike on the long days? Like spring to summer?

I believe you're correct about lack of green veins on the staminode, but that is the only reference I've found to that.

From watching my own philis and other northern hemisphere plants on slippertalk, I see most of these blooming from December to May. February to April seem the most common times, but I think I've taken one to the Memphis show in early May.
