Paph. roth x Chiu Hua Dancer -disappointing flower

P. rothschildianum x Chiu Hua Dancer first bloom. I have not seen pics of this cross previously. I am not impressed with this cross. I was hoping for longer twisting petals and a dorsal that opened more.

I rarely trash or give away a disappointing plant so I will wait it out if it survives for 3 blooming cycles.

2nd may be Blasting…….already dropped the 3rd and 4th buds…..

check for bugs. That is a problem in my greenhouse. It only takes one mealy bug to suck the life out of the bud.
You need to use a magnifier to see the small juvenile forms.
