It is smaller than the sibling, muddy color, hooded, pinched dorsal, overall just an inferior flower looking at them side by side. I'm not particularly interested in breeding with this cross so I'm content to have one good example in my collection and not have lesser plants taking up space in hopes of future improvement.

Hsinying Anita 'Bitis Botanical' just received an FCC of 91 points. I'm pleasantly shocked, I was expecting a midrange AM.

Aha. Expand the photo and those characteristics are evident.

I think I saw you showing your plant on AOS Facebook page! Congrats again, the yellow-black striping on the dorsal is really pretty

Ah yes… it’s gorgeous. The sister plant looks darker and awardable too.

The bloom timing didn't line up with judging but I believe so. It is much darker, a hair smaller and not quite as full but still excellent.

All three flowers open on 'Gold Dynasty' x 'Giant Wings'. The judges passed on this one but did say they would like to see it again when it is more mature.



'Black Bird' x 'Mont Milais', hoping the pouch color evens out in the future but overall I like this flower.

It's pretty horrific in person, but I've been told a time or two that I can be overly critical

The FCC is stunning. The roths are all good but I like the color on BB x MM. Agree with better saturation on the lip it would be a real winner.
