I sent this guy off to the Wisconsin Orchid Society show last weekend and he came home with a first place ribbon. The petals are not wide enough and the overall size is a little small to be awarded, but I like the shape and love the pattern of fine spots.

Sierra Bell is the hybrid of Sierra Lace and bellatlum and was registered in 2002, surprisingly originator unknown. It's 56% bellatulum,25% godefroyae, and 18% niveum.

From the images I found, Sierra Lace looks to have somewhat wavy petals. The cross to bellatulum gave it a better rounded shape.

Originator is most likely Nick Tannaci or Orchid Zone.
