Bought this plant Cloud's Orchids last year. A very vigorous plant. Has at least 4 new growths. The flower is bigger than I expected from this cross. I can't seem to capture the flower's nice shape in photos.

Interesting how spicerianum was able to wipeout the dorsal spots and organize what was left into stripes.

I just thought I would update this thread, several of these plants have recently received AOS awards. They are getting bigger and fuller over the years. Strong spicerianum shape while taking on the spotting and color of the henryanum pouch. Photo: Paphiopedilum Spicy Henry 'The Eighth' AM/AOS.

These are NOT the parents of the above plant, but this gives a side by side view of hybrid lineage, and a side by side with a Paph. spicer.Paph-SpicyHenry-TheEighth.jpgPaphiopedilum spicerianum - Spicy Henry.jpgPaphiopedilum spicerianum.jpgPaphiopedilum henryanum.jpg
