Which view do you like best, and why? (I can't make up my mind!)

#3 is out. #1 is nice because of the front-on shot of the one flower, but the one behind is hidden. #2 doesn't have a nice front-on shot, but two flowers can be seen nicely, so I'd go for that one. All are well photographed, though.

The second one! You get to see two blooms with front views (plus staminodes!) and a back view of the other! :)

#2 is best. All 3 flowers have purpose in this photgraph. The two on the left provide front views and the back of the third flower provides interest. #1 is too busy with one flower hiding behind the other and #3 is just the wrong angle.

Incredibly beautiful

Gotta git me summa that!

I like #1 best; it's very regal and shows the flower to best advantage. #3 is good, too, and you cal clearly see the platyphyllum parent in that pic.

Great no matter how photographed!

I vote for #2 for the reasons already stated so well by Miss Paphiopedilum, Roy & John_M. Wonderful color on those flowers, by the way.

Pic 1 has a very nive composition and can clearly see the deatil of the fron and the back of the flowers... However, the flowers are to high inthe picture, and it looks like it was cut... You could photoshop this one, in order to add 50% more black on top and on the sides (that would bring some balance on the whole picture) and maybe try to see whether deleting the piede of leaf on the bottom would improve the quality (I personally like it with the leaf!)

Pic 2 does not have such good composition as the first, but is definitally the best photo (as they are presented here) - what bothers me about this picture is that you don't really see the "face" of the subject. This is not always negative (I know a lot of people you would prefer their face would never be photographed!), but in this case, I think it would be of advantage.

P.S.- Ok, I took teh liberty of editing your pic (I hope you don't mind) I personally think it improves a lot in the composition.. whyt do you think?
