IIRC (and there's no guarantee on that!), I got this as a wee little seedling in a big batch of $2 seedlings from RJ Rands. A bunch of us from all over got together through the web and put in a big order. Rob Halgren, I think (it's been 12-15 years ago, probably), served as point man in Chicago and repacked and shipped everyone's plants back out.

Anyway, it's finally blooming and I'm very happy with it. One flower open and two more buds about to.

Wonderful.I like this type of hybrids. Wat are the sizes of the flower and the plant. Can we have a photo of the whole plant?

:drool::drool:That's FABULOUS! The best of both! :drool::drool:
Congrats on your patience! :clap::clap:

Here it is. The flower is 3" ns by 5.5" tall, the plant has a 26" ls and the whole thing including infl is 19" high.

Yes, I checked the label and 13 years ago is the first date. You have to understand that I had a very hard time with seedlings until the GH 2 years ago. I let them be too dry, didn't water very often (it was very difficult to do so in the growrooms), never fertilized and the indoor/outdoor thing coupled with the dryness of the growrooms wasn't good for them. I'd say it's been blooming size for a couple years now.

Wow! It's lovely! And here I thought I was the only one with a Ray Rands Six-Pack that's still waiting to bloom. I'm still waiting for my liemianum x gratrixianum to bloom. Congrats on flowering yours!

Nice - I agree with the others! Well worth the wait! A great combination of the parents.

Thank you for the infos. When I see the whole plant the flower seems to me even more beautiful. The hunting is opened!
