I got home from a couple of months holiday to find my stonei in flower for the first time. It wasn't even in bud when I left, so it was unexpected. This plant is from Taiwanese origin. Very slow growing to say the least. I obtained the plant 11 years ago as a good size seedling. It did have to go through quarantine which meant it was fumigated. Apparently the stonei's did not like it and it has taken a long time to get this plant back up to strength. It does seem to be growing better now and the new growth seems more vigorous.
