The one I gave to my friend ( Sue's surviving husband) in bloom. Obviously this is not going to be the best one from the grex, and it has a horn which I suspect will fix itself as the plant grows up. Still, what I'm particularly impressed with is the depth of pink. It's really quite delicious in person.
15cm plant in a 2in pot, NS 8.2cm, Dorsal (not flattened) 4.8cm, petal width (also not flattened) 3.2cm, and the scape has a second bud developing behind the flower. Paph Sue Omeis.jpg
 
You have to very happy with that! I’ve seen pictures of Hellas x niveum and Hellas x Mystic Isle that had a similar pink color but not as bold as this. Hellas really is the GOAT. Hopefully they will be fertile!
