Hi All

A 1st flowering Paph. sulivongii. Originally described as a variety of barbigerum but now considered as part of the gratrixianum complex.

Looks like insigne x villosum..With possible henryanum.....a natural hybrid?....I like it!!

Looks a little like coccineum… such close relatives.

Though KEW Science it still lists as Paph. barbigerum var. sulivongii I agree with those taxonomist who consider it as part of the Paph. gratrixianum complex. This makes more sense in my eyes.
