This actually flowered late last year while I was away. A friend took the photo. This is a first flowering for this division. Frustratingly I'll have to wait a couple more years to see it flower in person.

looks good and Susan Booths are fast growers.

Yes, I find Susan Booth and William Ambler are fast growers and clump well. This clone of Susan Booth in particular seems very vigorous as I know of quite a lot of people in Australia who have a division. Good signs for the future.

glad I got a piece of this, its great!

Excellent Stephen. When do you think you will flower yours?

Ah bad luck, but nice flower! It must be nice to have someone you can trust to take care of your plants while you're away. I'd have to take mine on vacation with us!

Its 'in the mail'!!! (hopefully not, Im away from home). Said to be a multi growth plant. I 'splurged' on your recommendation, David. I have a small plant of 'Sunnybank' which wil take a year or two.

The president of our orchid society no less. I was a bit nervous going away for two months given my glasshouse was new and the heat of summer was just around the corner. I had no idea how it would cope. It turned out fine.

I do you hope you like it otherwise I will feel responsible. It is a pretty good clone. An established plant regularly flowers with five flowers which is very good for this hybrid. I think Dean Johnstone told me that this was the only clone from the flask that did this.
