Paph.vejvarutianum

Vejvarutianum was described from plants originally collected in pre-cites batches of charlesworthii but which upon blooming out were clearly not charlesworthii. Here are pics of my two.

New to me, I haven't heard of it anywhere but it does look very nice. I am sure it will become more popular.......hopefully so I can get them.

Ernie- vej. is not very "rhizomy"...it is very hard to tell apart from rhizomatosum, but supposedly rhizomatosum is not very "rhizomy" at all when grown under horticultural conditions...apparently some of the original plants in the wild produced long rhizomes, but this trait seems to disappear under indoor culture...Take care, Eric
