This is a first bloom seedling of a cross made by Hadley Cash, acquired from Koopman Orchids after Hadley's passing. I wasn't sure what to make of the short wide pouch when it first opened but I've come to like it. The flower looks like it's smiling!

Maybe it’s just the angle it was photographed from but not much of a pouch.

The pouch is really quite small which makes it look a bit unusual, but endearing. The picture was taken facing the flower straight on.
