I guess and hope this is a sheath... Maybe too soon to tell... and unfortunatelly I cannot take a better shot... It is a seedling I got in November - December...
Paph. vietnamense x glaucophyllum (as you can see on the tag... ) There is no sign of division in between the growth, that is why I can assume it is not a leaf... I will wait and see... !!!!!!

Sorry... What I meant is that when a leaf emerges it is divided into two parts on the one side... But here there isn't any division of this type... I hope this helps...

Thanasis, I think what you mean is that the leaf is bilobed at the end, as opposed to a sheath, which has a 'sealed' end. IMHO, I think your plant looks a little too small to bloom... I would cut off the spike if I were you...

thats got to be a leaf coming. that plant looks very young. even if it is a spike, the flower or setting seed on it might drain the plant and kill it.
