excellent colour and an unusual outcome for a gratrixianum cross. With that white staminode and the colour I would have guessed this is charlesworthii crossed by a Maudiae-type hybrid.

That colour is truly amazing. I'm finding it a little hard to believe that gratrixianum could be involved with that hybrid. Both in terms of colour and shape.

I agree that both charlesworthii and Maudiae-type ancestry would be expected from the appearance. Ocean is an older hybrid (1952) with a high percentage of unregistered ancestry. Without seeing a picture of Ocean it may be possible for Maudiae-type and charlesworthii influence to come from there, but even then the vinicolor is unexpected. It is beautiful, but I think there's a mystery.

You know, it is possible it is a mystery, but on the tag that the name and the tag was fixer to the pot. But every thing was possible.

Everyone has commented on the color but the shape is very pleasing too. I'm sorry to say but mixing a bulldog paph with gratrixianum and then self that, you don't get a vini Maudiae type flower. Odin where have you been getting your plants?
