It's only a tiny seedling right now, and I had to cut the spike as soon as the flower opened, but I think it has potential. Love the vividness of the pink, and the rounded shape. It'll be a while now until it blooms again, but I'm already looking forward to what it produces next time it flowers.

It surely is a flower with potential. I really like the color. Just an FYI, Paph. Angela is not a very good breeder. It tends to yield infertile seed.

Paph Paradise just came out with their new flask list. It includes a cross using Angela, if I remember correctly.
You had me guessing on this one, so, I checked their flask list and the flasks listed is of Paph. Angela. The cross is fairrieanum 'Alicante' x niveum 'Montrachet'. I have previously discussed the use of Paph. Angela as a breeding parent with Dave Sorokowsky, via email, after trying several times to use Angela as a parent, with no success. He confirmed that Angela is not a good parent. That is why you rarely see it used as a parent. To bad, because it is beautiful.
