I picked this up for Paph Paradise at the beginning of October. It was already in bud. Now it's finally open. Angela is fairrieanum x niveum.... and yes, I should have staked it earlier.

Oh my, I like that flower a lot!
In my mind, I really enjoy hybrids that display wonderful characteristics from each parent.
Here you see the clear influence of fairrieanum. You can see the influence of niveum as well. The results are really cute and desireable! Great DJ!!!

I too bought one of these from Paph. Paradise. Mine was not in bud and I am really looking forward to seeing it's flower. Yours has very nice fairrieanum type shape with beautiful powder pink coloration. I hope mine turns out as nicely. Do you grow yours in Maudiae type light or do you give it more light? It is unfortunate but, I have not heard of Paph. Angela being effective as a breeding parent.

Thats really cool!
I too got one from PP last spring and its second flower will be fading soon.
Your's is really nice showing fairrieanum alot. Here is mine, its super spotted!
