Bought in bud so no credit for moi lol… lovely reddish petal tips… one of the possible red petal breeding hybrids if bred with red petal venustums. NS 9 cm.

Yes red petals are common in this species (a known trait).

I meant to say that this species can be used to breed red petal hybrids if matched with red petal venustums (as other species will wipe out this red in progeny).
