Paphiopedilum barbigerum var. coccineum ‘Little Bootie’

So that’s what the label says lol… to me, it’s coccineum. Small but cute.



NS 6 cm. Much more compact than my other one, which has been holding a pod (selfing) over 10 months now lol. You can see pod in second pic on the back left.

What can I say about the qualities of this flower, that an assistant AOS-judge can't put more succinctly than I? Well, I love it!

It's lovely with an intense dark almost chocolate colouration and a quite tall flower stem.
