Paphiopedilum fairrieanum - other of my favourite slippers to bloom this winter

Not the widest or roundest of dorsals, but I love the warm golden colours of this fairrieanum. And a bonus to get two spikes bloom!

(to my eyes) that's a really cool color form... it appears to have albescent qualities in the pouch, the inferior parts of the petals and the dorsal.... fun one to have in the collection

Congratulations! I don't think it's the easiest plant and you have really nice flowers there. I love the vibrant dorsal with the coppery-buff labellum Really strong, bold, yet pleasingly natural and comfortingly believable as a wildflower, as it should be.
