Hello all,

My second fairrieanum is blooming for the first time at the moment. I really like this species.

Exquisite and WOW these photos! Thank you for showing the full plant too. I'm curious; this is a first bloom but I see multiple growths in the pot... did the seedling produce multiple growths before it bloomed or is that a compot? Your foliage looks so compact and pristine.

Hi all, thanks for your kind comments.

There are 2 plants in this pot. The one blooming at the moment has not produced any shoots. The second plant had started a flower stalk and the bud was almost ready to open. But for some reason the stalk bent right in the middle, as if it had been crushed between two fingers. This plant had produced two new shoots before starting its stalk.

Thank you! Those spiking mishaps are always heartbreaking.
