Very cool sequence of frames. I like to see how the growth rate changes as you approach blooming. Thanks for the time and effort it took to create this.
 
Interesting how the frilliness of the petals dosen't develope until after they are extented. Almost looked like a different plant for one frame.
 
Very nice sequence! Like Hera said, I find it interesting that it opens up with spoon petals like a lowii then developed into something totally different! :clap:

How do you grow this species? Any cultural advice on growing and blooming it?

Agree with all: Very cool sequence!!!! The thing is to trigger the spike to climb out of that 'sheath' :)! Jean

(I have 2 of those 'sheaths' since some time and still no spike showing up:eek:)

That's something else but I guess it's not much different than the petals spiraling on the multis.
