Is this the cross that was made with delenatii fma vini (dunkle) 'Purple' and micranthum 'Red Dragon'. If so mine just bloomed for the first time a few days ago. Mine got the dark color but the dorsal isn't colored as much as the rest of the flower.

Very good color...please let us know how long the flower will last. My memory tells me the flower isn't long-lasting, only 2 weeks or so.

What would be expected of selfing of a primary hybrid?
To make the flowers last longer?🤣 I have not added micranthum or this hybrid to my new collection because the short-lived flowers(FYI, I got re-addicted, mostly Paphs, 5 months ago)...

Magic Lantern last 3-4 weeks, typical of parvis in general. At least that's my experience.

What is your experience with micranthum? My micranthum flower was about two weeks for the most, but someone else(Justin?) said his will last over a month.

I have already said it above. The only exception to this was Ho Chi Minh at a few days.
All parvis, species and hybrids, I have had had about the same bloom life span.
The only outlier is one of my Norito Hasegawa (also last about 3-4weeks normally) that lasts for about 3 months in bloom.

Well, accept the micranthum and ML had short-lived flowers for me(two weeks for the most for Micanthum for sure.), all other parvi last at least 4 weeks, armeniacum last for 1-3 months.

To answer what would be expected from selfing a primary hybrid, one should expect a spectrum from parent A to parent B, with the population centering on intermediate between the two, which would be similar to the primary hybrid itself. On a theoretical basis, if there were 32 chromosomes in the primary hybrid, then 1 in 2^32 would be parent A or parent B, which is 1 in 4,294,967,296.
