Question: by 'popular', do you mean 'common'?
Do you mean 70% blocked? Or 30% sunlight?This species quite popular in Vietnam and they grow in lam-stone forest at altitude from 300m to higher. They love shadow and need about 60-70% sun light.
These in situ photos are so helpful to those of us who cannot travel to the locations ourselves!
I dream of creating such an environment in a small area of my greenhouse just for fun....
