Hello,
This is a first blooming of this plant I hope that the next bloom will be better. It came from In Charm or Ching Hua, I don't remember.

If the gardineri used was in fact wilhelminae, which I think is usual, I would have expected a smaller and darker version of Gloria Naugle. This flower doens't meet my expectations in any respect.

How confident are you with micranthum being one parent? The reason I ask, the outcome is what is seen when delenatii is used in many crosses, such as, Black Diamond (delenatii X fairrieanum).

Ouch! I think this is a brachy cross, niveum or bellatulum by gardineri (or primary brachy x gardineri)? Shape could certainly improve on a subsequent flowering.

that's the price we all pay, with riscy crosses, using (cross) Section species.... The eternal game.....

Thanks at all for your opinion. Yes, It's always unpleasant to discover the label's mistake on the plant.
Sure, it's not a bad plant, I will wait for the next blooming for appreciate it.
Regards
Olivier
