Oto is a cross between Paph. fairrieanum and Paph Winston Churchill - in this case 'Indomitable' FCC/AOS

This would be what I'd consider a "teacup" paph, and the flower NS is 3.75" (9.5 cm), and the entire plant is about 11" tall including its 2" pot.

I bit "bleedy" in the dorsal, but I still like it.

Maybe fairrieanum is less present in the hybrid because a 2n fairrieanum and a 4n Winston Churchill could have been used als parents? The result would be statistically 33% fairrieanum against 66% Winston Churchill as parts of the genome of the hybrid.

I really like the overall form and size and of course the nice reddish color of the flower!

Sometimes I think it is important to see these mini/teacup paphs in person to get the feel of what they are offering over a standard. Nice bold colours and well balanced, wish I could see it in person.
