This I bought in April -08. First time in bloom.
Paphiopedilum rothscildianum X anitum. I have read different name for it, Wössner Black Wings and Paph René Klinge. Even the name Johanna Burkhardt but then it roth X adductum

RHS accept anitum as only a variety of adductum and the name of this cross is Paph. Johanna Burkhardt

I saw that the RHS is starting to accept "breeding strains" or something like that so hybridizers can keep up with significant influences of forms and varieties like our friend anitum in hybrids. Not sure of the exact details, but adductum hybrids made with anitum might be able to carry a different grex name than the same made with straight adductum. Read back through the notes at the bottoms of the last couple years worth of RHS hybrid registration quarterly reports. ???
