Paphiopedilum rothschildianum x sib (‘New Gigantic’ x ‘X Hot’ SMM/JOGA )

So this one is in sheath. The sheath is very flat. Im not sure if this is ok or not. Out of all the rothschildianum I have this is by far the beefyest/ robust. I have bloomed one other of the same cross and it does not look like the same parents were used as the plant characteristics are so different.

I honestly can't remember about my other roths but is the sheeth supposed to be flat? I'm not sure if this is ok or not

Roths often will put out multiple empty sheaths before the buds emerge.

The one thing I have noticed about this roth compared to the others is that is is a very robust plant that is larger than the others to have bloomed from Sam with a lower quality. I have high hopes for this as the plant has always stood out and just looked like it had good genetics.

Thank you, I have ran out of stakes so im letting it go natural. I have never not staked a roth so im not sure if that is super bad. I may do it but I'm not wanting to destroy some roots too in the process
