Paphiopedilum spicerianum

It entered the collection December 2020. It flowered May 2021 one flower without pouch. Growing very well and now blooming with 2 flowers.
It is from Ecuagenera.

Hi Mario, I hope you allow a personal opinion when asking for comments. It is definately a beautiful well grown plant with with nice colored flowers. For me, the most beautiful spicerianums always have their typical rounded "pagoda-like" flag curves, as if they want to protect the pouch opening from getting too much rain into it (like below pic) Maybe your picture was taken before full reflexion of the flag and might change a bit more?

It's hard to say if it's a Paph. spicerianum or maybe Paph. Bruno (75% P. spicerianum and 25% P. insigne). There are some photos in the net with Paph. spicerianum which look identically (if they are a true Paph. spicerianum) and also photos of Paph. Bruno which look identically. At any rate the downwards hanging foliage in photo 2 looks very spicerianum like. Due to the influence of Paph. insigne the foliage of Paph. Bruno (which I've seen so far) grows slightly more upright.
At any rate it's a very lovely flower, Mario.

This flower has a blotch instead of the distinctive cross on the staminodal shield. I'm not a taxonomist, but I showed the photo to one and he agreed that it is likely a hybrid.
Still a very attractive flower!

Ok, thank you. I like it, but indeed I doubt about 100% spicerianum.

Thank you, yes I ask for comments due I doubt about ID. I bought it as spicerianum, but the dorsal is so different. I took pics today (see UPDATE below) even the ones from last week were taken after more days that the flower was opened.

I like the plant, but I think it is not 100% spicerianum even it came from a reliable orchid company.

Yes, I like the plant (waxy foliage and nice flower, I like the dark pouch). And certainly the foliage is very spicerianum. I will study about Paph Bruno.
