Nice flower for this first time.
A dry period of several weeks when the button appears in the growth seems necessary to successful flowering. With too much water, the bud dies.

Very nice! always nice to see a tigrinum in bloom :)
Can you please clarify what the 'button' is? is that when the sheath begins to swell (and you can see the bud forming inside)? I think I over watered mine earlier this year and the sheath browned :sob:
 
Sorry for the button, It's a mistake. I wanted to tell "bud"...

I think it's necessary to stop water (just a little all the 8 to 15 days) when you can see the sheath (with the very small bud) inside the growth.
 
Really nice flowering Fabrice. A special thanks for the blooming tip as well! Do you have any plans for this flowering? F2 cross? Hybrid?
