Breeding done by Hilo Orchid Farms, I've only had this for about a year and it just sits there and I'm too scared to take it out to examine the roots, we'll see if I have long term success with this species in my warm conditions. I don't like the downward facing twisted petals on this one but the stance is good. You win some, you lose some.

Wow, I’m amazed that it would bloom on such a small growth. I’d be putting that bloom ina vase, hop8ng to help the plant start growing!

My first thought when looking at the pics was the same as Just1more said, I counted the leaves and went Wow, thats small! Did you lose older leaves?

Just stake up the flower. The petals will look up.
