The monster rears its hypnotic green eye once again! Last year had 3 blooms but that must have taken a lot of energy. Thus only one flower this year.

ive not noticed the lovely patterning within the pouch before.
Leslie, your 'Cyclops' is a real beauty despite of its clonal name.

With sadness, Cyclops failed to get an award today at RBG show. He looks disappointed 
. Judges liked the size and intense color esp the green central bos, but were not liking his form too much (pouch a bit off and one petal uneven).

i love it regardless! did the color deepen? i feel like the pouch and petals picked up more red.
Yes it darkens over time.
