Paphiopedilum wardii 'Z4636' x '6615'

I got this from Carter and Holmes in 2012. The first 4-5 buds blasted, and it is finally starting to behave better. The last year, it managed to open 1 flower (for 1 week or so). This year, it shot 3 buds (the first one already dropped after 10-14 days). C&H gave the lineage info of this cross: "This is our own superior version of this species with almost black markings. The parents of '6615' are 'Newport' x 'Bitter Chocolate' and 'Z4636' is from the Orchid Zone." It does look like a fairy typical P. wardii (which I prefer over artificially selected deviants). I dont think this particular clone lives up to their expectations; they all cant, can they?
