Hi All,
My Paph. Fred's Grandure (left) and Paph. Deperle (right) are in bloom. Last year Fred's Grandure only had one bloom. This year it looks like I may have four. I've also added three new Paphs to my collection in mid September.
1 - Paph. Dollgoldi
2 - Paph. Gloria Naugle
All of my Paphs are in my terrarium. The potting medium I use is Atlanta Botanic Gardens mix (ABG). The rocks in the terrarium are Seiryu stone which is a type of limestone. I've added it for the calcium content. The terrarium is watered, using distilled water, for 5 seconds every other hour during the day. A fan runs all the time to keep the air moving.
In the picture with the Paphs in bloom are also
2 - Coelogyne wenzelii, one yellow and the other red
1 - Epidendrum porpax, also in bloom
1 - Haraella retrocalla, also in bloom
1 - Macodes petola, I cut the spikes off
1 - Paph. delenatii, not in bloom yet this year
In the other picture are the Paph. Dollgoldi in the front and the Paph. Gloria Naugles in the back. The orchid near the Paph. Dollgoldi is a Mediocalcar decoratum clipping I planted a few days ago. I want to see how it will do.
